X Factor rejects John and Edward Grimes have been approached to replace Katie Price on I’m A Celebrity, The Sun has reported.
The twins have apparently been offered £100,000 to fly out to the jungle, after Katie quit the show on after just one week.
According to the tabloid, show producers made the offer via Jedward’s X Factor mentor, Louis Walsh, who has flown to Dublin to speak to the twins’ parents. "It would be a nailed-on ratings coup if Louis manages to persuade them it’s a good move for their career," an insider is quoted as saying. "Louis still believes ITV haven’t offered enough money. But the twins were completely unknown a couple of months ago and everyone around them is saying they should make hay while the sun shines."
When asked about the offer by GMTV host Ben Shepherd, John said: "Can we do that? Are we celebrities?… We’re up for any challenge, we’ve got to think about it together and see if it’s for us."

I feel a bit sorry for them actually – I think they are probably really nice guys who have got caught up in all this and gave it all they could (I like Louis but that was his fault really). But it has been a great experience for them whatever the outcome was so I guess nothing has been lost. Anyway, they should do it and milk all they can while they can – good luck to them – I would certainly watch it (I haven\’t got involved yet this time round).

i think they are good entertainers just cant sing , if they were in britains got talent doing their double act yes but not x factor they were flat, but will do well as adouble act for im a celebrity and shows like that, sign them up .

Well apart from Katie Price the rest of the people in there are hardly celebs, I only knew who a few of them were before they went in. At least Jedward are well known compared to the rest of the people. I think they should do it and show the public what they are like as people. They have a big fan base as well so could win it.
i think the twins should do it, i didnt like them on the xfactor at first but have become a huge fan of how entertaining they are, they would spice things up for sure, im sure kim would love someone to mother. They would make the perfect replacement for Kaite Price. GO JEWARD!!! (Y)

I didn\’t like Jedward to begin with, but now I love them :] people gave them such a hard time because they couldn\’t sing in a singing competition, but please just remember that it was Louis who put them there in the first place! They did their best and I\’m glad they got as far as they did :] and putting them in the jungle is the greatest idea ever. They\’d be much more entertaining than Katie Price. And you can barely call the rest celebrities. They\’re just TV personalities. Apart from George, of course :] but while Jedward have the media\’s attention, doesn\’t that make them celebrities?
i think the jungle would be the ideal place for them, then pack up and leave them there.

I really want to see the terrible twins in the jungle think it would be really entertaining especially to see others faces. I was not a fan of them until george week on xfactor they totally won me over have since followed any news on them and think their young fun lads having an experience of a life time. they seem to have kept feet on the ground not been disheartend by being slated by everyone.

I dont think they would be ably for the pressure with their age, to be away from home for so long, in saying that i think people were very hard on them with the xfactor they are only young trying to get a career for themselves which i admior in a young person wishing them both all the best in the future
I think the twins are awesome and would love to see more of them on TV but maybe the pressure would be too much for them? but its their choice! But it would be great to see them onTV again Because i was gutted when they left X factor!

I think you should sooo put them in. Now katie price has gone and theres no drama in it its getting boring i barely watched it today just wasnt interested in it. If you put jedward in it, it would add comedy and a bit of excitement. If they dont go in ill probably stop watching. V. much agree with Tiyamike. Put Jedward In!

I think that john and edward should go in to the jungle because after appearing on the x factor they are celebrities now and are always talking about john and edward and also how knows they are born entertainers and i also think they would be good in there
